Winter
Snowmobiling
Bring your sled and ride right from the lodge. Just a few kilometers away, you can gain access to the main trail from Edson to Silver Summit Ski Area. This trail does continue to Whitecourt and the Golden Triangle Trail system. There are endless cutlines and old roads for those riders who like to explore and make tracks in powder.
Downhill Skiing
The Silver Summit Ski Area is just 23 kilometers away. Enjoy a day of downhill skiing on natural snow. It is great for families.
Cross-Country Skiing
Try cross country skiing at the Hornbeck Trails northwest of Edson, about 40 kilometers from the lodge. There are over 35 km of groomed trails for every level of skier.

ATV Riding
Bring your machines and ride right from the lodge. There is a fantastic trail system minutes from the house.
Hiking and Mountain Biking
There are groomed trails on the property for hiking and biking. Adventure seekers can explore the boreal forest off the property.
Bird Watching
The boreal forest is home to over 70 bird species that nest here in the summer.
Wildlife Viewing
There is a great variety of wildlife that lives in the area. You may see Beavers, Black Bears, Chipmunks, Cougars, Elk, Foxes, Moose, Mule Deer, Pine Martens, River Otters, Squirrels, Whitetail Deer and Wolves.
Fishing
There is access to stream fishing on the property and lakes and other rivers nearby for other fishing opportunities. Remember to purchase your Alberta sport fishing license.
